It's amazing and so predictable how any candidate, no matter what their nature seems to be, gets that Sally Field "you like me, you really like me!" look in their eyes the minute they introduce themselves by name and an audience claps.
He did ok. The gaydar joke was the best.

Totally unrelated but have you noticed how his wife is trying to make herself look older to match him? Like the opposite Barbara Bush effect. I think she's secretly silvering her hair for the election.
